History

There are several ways to describe Michael's life, especially if one asks his parents or brothers for information. However, for him, the easier way begins and ends with the world "normal". He had a normal childhood, a normal life. A small house in suburbs was his environment through most of his life, his family, while not rich, well enough to provide for the three boys who filled the residence most moments of the day. Michael, oddly enough, ended up learning easily enough how not to request too much of his parents. A mother who had come with little bar herself from across the ocean and a father who worked himself half to death every day. He knew enough to understand nothing more could be demanded.

So, instead of mourning, he found his own ways out. School didn't exactly steal much of his attention but part-time jobs did, pushing his brothers back into order each time they strayed too far. In a way, he didn't care to be a responsible adult. He just knew it was expected of him to lessen the burden of his parents and he did so without really complaining. For his parents, he was nothing more or less than a mild child, easy to deal with while on their sights. Outside, he had free reign as long as no words reached his parents' ears. No consequences which would bring them problems.

When Michael finished high-school, he decided not to continue his studies. He didn't exactly see a point in it and there was little calling him towards that route. His father demanded, his mother requested and plead and he played deaf, pure and simple. Instead, he found odd jobs here and there before settling, somehow, as public relations. He didn't get how he did that. He didn't even know how someone could actually hire him considering his way of saying everything wrong at the worse moment possible. Apparently, his boss found him amusing.

Michael thought the same of him. For that alone, he attempted to do slightly better. Down to earn himself the habit of biting his lip and counting up to ten before speaking whatever stupid thing that came to his mind. In a way, he settled and accepted the luck he had been gifted with.

The outbreak hit him far too strongly. Not because of consequences for his family but simply because of the awakening of his powers. He didn't understand how they worked and, for a long time, he thought he was simply going insane and imagining everything. It took his mother's tears, her continuous caring to snap him out of his madness. That and his boss's very direct punch. Just in case he had forgotten he was supposed to be sane like everyone else.

But he did snap out of it. And with that, he pulled himself back into some semblance of normalcy.

• Recent Events

- 2009, October, 11th, posts in the community. Discovers that it's actually a blog and not a pornography site. Go figure.

- 2009, October, 23th, Chris manages to correct his powers, mainly the problem with his clairvoyance.

- 2009, October, 28th, pisses off Rainie Yang due to being a callous brute.

- 2009, November, 9th, convinces Chris to attend an art exhibit. Some days after, his mother manages to convince him to do a fitting for his female cousins. Dresses.

- 2009, December, 3th, due to a pretty bad vision, he gets knocked out for a while. His mother forces him to rest.

- 2010, January, 10th, Lara shows up on the comm.

- 2010, January, 13th, brought to up to stage in the Girls Abroad Tour.

- 2010, January, 31th, travels to Naha to attend a concert. Also exchanges powers with Carter Rockett. Unfortunately, they malfunctioned which means his luck suffered severe ups and downs.

- 2010, February, 12th, a kid shows up in his living room claiming to be his daughter. After much arguments she is found out to be his future daughter with an unnamed girl.

- 2010, March, 22th, tries to help out during the massive attacks on one of the city's hospitals. Is injured during the attempt.

Personality

Sarcastic and devious though not the most intelligent man alive. He doesn't care much about attaining knowledge out of his fields of interest and simply allows others to take the lead in such matters. Calling him lazy would be incredibly accurate then. Rather no-nonsense, quick on practical matters and how to turn a situation that seems hopeless into something much more manageable. Someone who mocks others rather easily but merely in jest, meaning little other than a joke behind his supposedly hurtful or snappish words. All in all, he doesn't really mean most things his mouth chooses to say without requesting his brain for permission.

To try and control his life is to truly anger him, push his buttons and he won't be afraid to let it be known. He accepts not everything can be controlled but whatever is his to guide, he won't allow others to meddle with. Realistic and someone who simply doesn't believe in settling down and letting failure hit him. When it does, however, he feels guilt harder than many.

Someone who will only speak words of care once pushed against a wall with a blade, trapped between something extremely dangerous. He doesn't find it easy to speak those, preferring to look elsewhere, find distractions and perhaps avoid the subject completely. It doesn't mean he doesn't care. Just means he fails absolutely when it comes to show it except for small gestures he will deny doing. And those gestures? Will be the most random, less sensible and thoroughly confusing he will think of. And, more than often, the needed gesture even if at an improper time.

Powers

• precognition ;; form of extrasensory perception which enables him to receive images or visions of the future. Mostly, they appear without his wish though the possibility to do so consciously exists. He avoids it, however, and tends to give them far less importance at a daily basis.

• mediumship ;; ability to see and interact with the souls of the dead.

• sorcery ;; ability to control the natural world (including events, objects, people, and physical phenomena) through mystical, paranormal or supernatural means. Basically, his spells allow temporary control over the diverse forces of nature with variable degrees of power and ability. The number of magical effects that can be created aren't well know to him, but it is possible to cast and counteract spells and heal, teleport, astral travel, shield, transform matter and fire eldritch energy.

Family

• Mother ;; he's actually a mommy's boy. He adores her beyond measures and puts up with a lot just because she asks him to. The only person to address him by Min-Ho.
• Father ;; they have a typical father-son relationship. Only slightly more protective on both sides.
• Jake and Maurice ;; his younger brothers. Younger which means he's totally the man of the house and what he says goes. Kinda.
• Eileen ;; his future daughter. She was a cute kid, pretty sweet and who seemed to adore latching onto him at every moment. Basically, Michael knows he's gonna be a sucker for that kid when she's actually alive. If she is. Time paradoxes are fun.

Friends

• Chris ;; One of the few people Michael would stick by through thick and thin. Been around for enough time to enjoy his way to see the world and the way to face everything that comes his way.
• Sarah ;; cool girl, someone good to have around and that he does trust in his own way. Whatever stuff happened between her and Chris...well, that's their problem until it becomes too messed up.
• Lara ;; his ex-girlfriend. She was his neighbor and they dated for a couple of years before her parents divorced and she moved. In his own way, he adored her. He just knew letting her go would be better in the long run. At this point, he esteems her as a very close friend.
• Siobhan ;; chill, chill girl. To not kill him after he made a fool out of himself yet again, he's grateful. He dropped food on her, he apologized, they got to see sports together.
• Tatiana ;; her kind of girl spoiled him. She never seemed bothered with his comments or actions and that goes just right down his alley. He likes her, pretty cool chick.
• Murphy ;; didn't try to steal him. What kind of cab driver doesn't do that? Seriously? Seriously. Not a bad guy.
• Aubrey ;; she chills with him and buys him food. What's not to like?
• Brian Thompson ;; his boss. Annoying, sharp, strict and somewhat contradicting. Still amusing.

Acquaintances

• Alex ;; not a bad kid, stuck in Athens which peaks his interest.
• Hyori Lee ;; hello, pop princess. His mother is kinda annoying to use his account now but the woman's cool.
• Mike ;; so he kinda stuck his foot in mouth again. But yeah, poor guy. Prancing around in a skirt thanks to a friend? Not pleasant.
• Rainie Yang ;; cute but kind of scary. This chick just gives off a ~weird~ vibe and damnit, he's never calling her crazy again.
• Destiny ;; uncomplicated females exist. It's a miracle. Pretty chill girl, helped him out with a very small problem so he's grateful.
• Regina ;; isn't she supposed to be an actress or something? ..right. She's way cheerful, spoke as much as he did and he's somewhat sure he'll like her.
• Hale ;; cool kid, needs more work on the social department. Michael's planning to test this with some random conversation when possible.
• Mina ;; so this chick didn't get offended by anything he says. That's cool. He likes that.

Random Facts

• He can't speak a word of korean bar curses. All of them learned from his mother on random arguments with his father. Learning conveniently at the moment.
• Favorite food is his mom's chicken. He'll eat it at every meal if given the chance.
• Eats anytime, everywhere and at any given chance.
• Adores swimming and skateboarding.
• His favorite musical groups are The Offspring, Motorhead and 30 Seconds to Mars. On contrast, he started listening to Se7en and Gummy. Hyori Lee was, actually, his mother's fault. Again.
• Truly incompetent in anything he doesn't find interest in.
• Dancing is a hobby and others do consider him somewhat of a good singer. He doesn't, however.
• He has a small red rubber dinosaur called Paco and few are allowed to touch it. It's his baby.
• Drives a grey Fiat Punto and makes sure none is allowed to bring garbage in.
• When he can't focus, he spaces out, many times staring at nothing.
• While he finds interest in both genders, he has a strong female preference.
• Doesn't take well to demands. It's probably the quickest way to get on his nerves.
• Tends to use beanies at a daily basis.
• Hates any form of cold.
• If he had the chance, he'd like to work either on TV or radio.
