Backstory

While not born into money, Dahlia was always someone craving and wanting more from life. She liked the finer things, nothing ever being enough, and always gave too easily. She would never just like someone, she would fall madly in love and let herself be taken over fully. Her life was never something of her own, really, more a molding block for what others would want to see of her. By 18 she was well on her way to becoming a model - because of the devotion and love she received from it. She rose to some form of fame quickly, her defined looks a plus and even becoming a staple in certain major fashion labels.

Even years into it she was still considered a fresh new face - young and naive in her way and always completely fold-able to anyone willing. This naivete and willingness to become completely enthralled with someone is what lead to her real downward spiral into vengeance. She met a woman by the name of Aislinn Moran and her life was changed completely. After a short but passionate, at least in Dahlia's eyes, romance, Aislinn left her to continue on in her life.

She promised she would make herself worth it, she would show up Aislinn and do everything she could to reclaim her gaze. She wanted her heart, her devotion, to turn and shatter it as Aislinn had done to her. Giving up her life as a model she began to seduce and sleep with whomever she could, working her way up the social ladder and eventually marrying one of the wealthiest men in Europe. At the time of the outbreak they had been living in Paris, and sadly enough the man was killed.

Dahlia pretended to be sad, but in all honesty she had never loved him. Her powers developed and scared her more than anything else, ghosts appearing out of nowhere, until she realized that she was able to control them. While still on edge over it she tries to flaunt herself off as anything and everything she most obviously isn't.

Personality

While Dahlia might try to tell you she is without compassion and cold, but she is actually the exact opposite. She is so overrun in her emotions that she sometimes becomes paralyzed by them, moving through the motions as she expects others want from her. She is driven now by what she claims to be vengeance, but it's nothing more than some childish movement to get back at the person who broke her heart. She really doesn't harbor any hatred toward her deep down, more of a lingering question of why she was tossed aside so easily. Her incompetence of the situation has lead to all she is today.

While she can pretend to be something of a welcome figure in any situation it only furthers the truth of her personality - a blank slate for any others to fill. She is the exact reflection of everyone around her and when left alone in the cold room she is really nothing more than a lost child in the grown up world. While she can pretend all she wants at the end of the day it's all she really has left anymore - that and the ghosts and money she's received though neither is really all that perfect in her existence.

↔ What She's Got

∴BIOKINESIS ⇒ Capable of controlling the biological structure of her own and the bodies of others. While theoretically capable of rewriting some one's genetic structure at will she has only really been capable of healing a slice on her own body. She produces bio molecular energy at will to affect organic matter that she touches, allowing her to heal physical damage done to her or others bodies, open up suppressed power developments, repair cerebral functions and alter the composition of her own molecules in certain ways. Right now she has no idea what any of that is and only knows she can make broken bones or burns go away with a touch. The more she learns of biology and advanced sciences the more she'll be able to do with it.
∴PSYCHIC MANIFESTATIONS ⇒ Ability to summon up necroplasmic residue left behind by the death of living beings and manifest them as ghost-like entities to do her bidding. She's unsure if they are the actual souls of people who have died or just the way in which her powers manifest. They are transparent and float like ghosts in stories and films and can become intangible at will. They have also at times been shown to phase through objects, disrupting the binding forces and breaking the objects apart.
∴EMPATHIC LINKS ⇒ She shares an empathic link with the manifestations, feeling their pain if they are injured. She can, however, create new links with others in order to ease the pain on herself and allow them to feel the same anguish. She cannot influence others emotions or even feel them, only feel, control and re-direct the emotions of her own manifestations.

↔ Relationships

Lovers

Lancaster → Really wealthy man living in Paris. She's slept with him a few times to keep up status among the wealthy and to, just if she needed, have a back up fellow rich man.

Enemies

Aislinn Moran → The woman who shattered her heart and life, Dahlia wants to make sure that she can make Aislinn feel that same pain one day. She gets enraged whenever she even tries to think of her but is almost always finding herself remembering the woman for the better times instead of the worse. Her anger toward her is only matched by her want to have her back and to herself alone.
Xiang Zha → A younger girl who was modeling and close to topping Dahlia before Aislinn came into the picture. Dahlia still harbors some resentment against her, and often fools herself into believing the girl is only where she is now thanks to Dahlia having fallen out of the public eye in that regard.

↔ Random Notes

⇒ She'll sleep with anything as long as it gets her something in return.
