Noteworthy Locations
• The Obelisk — A modern monument placed at the heart of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Porteños refer to it simply as El Obelisco. It is one of the icons of the city and a venue for various cultural activities and other events.
• National Library — The largest library in Argentina and one of the most important in the Americas.
• San Pelmo — It is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Well-preserved, it is characterized by its European and colonial architecture.
• Casa Rosada — The Pink House and officially known as the Casa de Gobierno ("Government House") or Palacio Presidencial ("The Presidential Palace"), was the official seat of the executive branch of the Government of Argentina. The Casa Rosada sits at the eastern end of the Plaza de Mayo, a large square which since the 1580 foundation of Buenos Aires has been surrounded by many of the most important political institutions of the city and of Argentina. It currently functions as the local headquarters for the Revival Project.
