Noteworthy Locations

China World Trade Center Tower III — A 330 m (1,083 ft) tall skyscraper with 74 floors, 4 underground floors, and 63 elevators located in Beijing's central business district of Chaoyang at the junction of the East Third Ring Road and Jian Guo Men Wai Avenue. It was completed by he start of 2009 and now serves as the local headquarters for the Revival Project.

Forbidden City — It was the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost five centuries, it served as the home of the Emperor and his household, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.

The Bird's Nest — Actually the Beijing National Stadium, it is a stadium that was designed for use throughout the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics.

Temple of Heaven — Tiantan, in Mandarin Chinese, is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in southeastern urban Beijing, in Xuanwu District. It is regarded as a Taoist temple, although Chinese Heaven worship, especially by the reigning monarch of the day, pre-dates Taoism.

Great Wall of China — Referred to as chang cheng in Mandarin Chinese, it literally means long fortress. It's a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China, built, rebuilt, and maintained between the 6th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks during the rule of successive dynasties. There are several sections that run throughout Beijing.
